The scan results, risk assessments, and all data presented by this Service are not intended to be, and should not be construed as, financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional guidance.
Not Financial Advice
Crypto404 does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice.
- ⚠Do not make financial decisions based solely on Crypto404 scan results
- ⚠A "safe" or "low risk" rating is not a guarantee that an address is legitimate or that any transaction will be secure
- ⚠A "high risk" or "critical" rating does not necessarily mean an address is engaged in illegal activity
- ⚠Always conduct your own due diligence and consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions
No Guarantees on Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no representations or warranties regarding:
- •Completeness: Our databases may not contain all known malicious addresses. New threats emerge constantly, and there may be a delay before they appear in our systems.
- •Accuracy: Scan results are based on available data at the time of the scan. False positives and false negatives can and do occur.
- •Timeliness: Threat data is cached and may not reflect the most current state. The OFAC SDN list is cached for up to 24 hours; other data sources have their own refresh intervals.
- •Reliability: The Service may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions. Third-party data sources may be temporarily unavailable.
Third-Party Data Sources
Crypto404 aggregates data from multiple third-party sources, including:
OFAC SDN List
Maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. We access a public mirror of this data. We are not affiliated with the U.S. government and make no claims about the completeness or accuracy of the mirrored data.
ChainAbuse
A crowdsourced database of scam reports. Reports are submitted by community members and may not be verified. The presence or absence of reports on ChainAbuse does not definitively establish whether an address is malicious.
Community Reports
User-submitted reports on our platform are manually reviewed but may contain inaccuracies. We cannot independently verify all claims made in community reports.
We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party data. Each third-party source has its own terms, policies, and limitations.
